A few of the burial jars, kurkar ossuaries and chain-type burial cells in the Chalcolithic cemetery at Palmahim (North) included fragmentary human skeletal remains. The bones represent at least 14 individuals, none of which are children, as is characteristic of Chalcolithic cemetery populations.
