The Ground Stone Tools from Tel Bet Yeraḥ
(pp. 97–102)
Gil Haklay and Ianir Milevski
Keywords: Sea of Galilee, groundstone, lithics, industry
A total of 19 ground stone artifacts were recovered from Tel Bet Yeraḥ. Nearly all were made of basalt, while some mortars and perforated stones were made of limestone; one item, a rubbing stone, was made of pumice. Although small, the ground stone tool assemblage conforms with previous observations at this EB II and III site.
